Towers of the Virgin, Zion 2009 - The Towers of the Virgin are an iconic location for photography. However, these amazing peaks can be a challenging subject for sure. I visited this location on at least 7 occasions before capturing the atmosphere and composition I had been visualizing. The golden light was captured at sunrise without filtration. The clouds came at just the right moment to create a sweeping element from left to right. I chose to really dig into the peaks with a telephoto lens to create the panorama. GS
